Denise currently lives in eastern Pennsylvania. Her creative spirit emerged at a very young age while exploring needlework with her grandmother. Fiber/texture and color became an important step in her journey.
Her fiber art evolved to include painted backgrounds, custom designs, and teaching locally. She exhibited her work at several museums in the Delaware Valley.
When her youngest son headed off to college, she took a 90 degree turn in her own art direction.
Today, watercolor is her main medium of choice. She welcomes new and whimsical journeys that incorporate many mediums (acrylics, markers/pens, inks, a little sparkle) with her novel “Werkheiser Plus”!
